Ouch. Moving is a lot of work, The Cass and I get to do it twice! Last weekend’s race was wet and well… ended with me flying through the air. Thankfully the ground was wet and oily, similar to the slip and slide in Dickie Roberts Childhood Star. Funny movie by the way, kind of creepy but funny. The things that are on late night tv. Did I mention school is out… no that I have too much free time, I prefer to think that I am managing my time more efficiently to allow for late night tv time.
Fitchburg started today. Ouch again. The TT was tough. Not sure if I was girled or not, but I think it’ll be close. Sighhh. Oh I’m representing Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield this weekend. Pretty cool team.
Tomorrow circuit race and #1 Fan arrives. I better get my butt in gear before she arrives… she probably won’t be happy with 70th.
Mrs. H left a message that she wrecked again. That makes the score: Dirt - 2 JH - 0.
One thing the race directors understand here, we like to sleep in. Today’s race started at 4:30. Tomorrow 4:00. Perfect.

Ahhhrggg… the humidity here is horrible, so bad in fact that it has retarded the locals into thinking, “it is kind of refreshing.” Refreshing?!? But there is an end to this madness in sight! Air conditioning is only two months, 60 days, away! All we had to do was pawn all of my bikes to purchase a new casa and BAM! we will have air conditioning! After 360 Easy payments it will be ours foreva’ (hopefully the a/c works that long). It may have been easier to head to walmart and purchase an a/c unit, but where’s the fun (risk) in that? Let’s get crazy and bet the farm on an a/c that happens to come with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and living room! Because we’re all friends, well most of us, when we finally move and you want to come over, be a champ tell #1 Fan that you like the place and the decorations; even though you are really coming over for the air conditioning (it will make my life soooo much easier)!
Beyond it being so humid, much is happening in the world o’ Jonez. Back in Nor-Cal everyone has jumped on the cycling bandwagon and are trying their luck on the dirt. The information from Bill’s Hill is the dirt is winning at this point by a long shot. Speaking of nor-cal folk you should check out all of our relatives in this commercial http://theatresquare.com. I’m out of school for the summer and The Cass is close behind. .EDU crashed and burned last night. I’ll try to post some pictures of his Yale C-Dale… all I’ve gotta say is you should’ve bought a Flyte… My parents are out for the weekend, so Roomba here we come.
Here’s a parting picture of me and Eric “I’m really really extremely good looking” Becker prior to him leave the Hav to start his male modeling career.

So it has been a while and a lot has happened.
I finished Mt. Hood… did quite meet my goal of a top 15 but scored some NRC points which is good.
Even though my performance wasn’t the best I had a great time out there. #1 Fan couldn’t make it so Father-in-law and I bonded. Nothing brings guys closer than eating burritos for lunch five days in a row. My parents and M-Law showed up for the last three stages which was cool. My dad has a huge case of critviewphobia (fear of watching crits), so I tried to get closer to the curb everytime I went by him. He eventually opened his eyes, after the sun went down, and tried to watch the last few laps.
I made it back to the Lynwood just in time to participate in the CT. State Crit Chumpionships. Note for next year… don’t take the 5 days prior to a st. champ event off… actually find out about the event before the morning of (thanks .edu for informing me). Bottom line break of 8… and…. I got eighth… so lame.
Housatonic this weekend.
Oh on a side note, I’ll post some pics of the new pad soon…
