Seven days!!!
Our time in the New Hizzle is coming to an end. In seven days we are out of here and Nor-Cal bound!
#1 and went for a little celebration last night to Claire’s. Last time I posted a picture of cake it was in honor of the off season. This Lithuanian coffee cake kicks off the start of party season! Goodbye Ghetto Haven hello California.
While we like to moan and groan about how horrible the Haven is, we have enjoyed some parts of it. We will miss our friends, the food, Yale, the short distance to The City and Boston, and did I mention the FOOD. If you ever find yourself stuck in a traffic jam on I-95, which is anytime you travel it, stop in New Haven and eat. Your tummy and passengers will thank you. Many people travel to NYC for the food, ever wonder where people from The City go to experience good food; The Ghetto Hav. How can you go wrong in a town that invented the pizza and the hamburger?! Anyone who has visited us can testify that I’m preaching the truth here.
Life is good on the racing front too. The team killed it up at Beauce and we are looking to continue our winning ways at Fitchburg and Cascade.

Hey what’s up Chris? It tried to sent an e-mail but it did not go throurgh last week. I wanted to drop you a line sooner, but I have been out of town the last two days. I just got back in the office today so here we are back to the grind. It was very cool visiting with your mom and dad at Uncle Jerry’s house. It sounds like you are doing awesome. Congratulations on your wife getting a new job that is very exciting and congrats to you on your racing, it sounds like you are doing very well. What a small world we live in. I am excited to talk to you about your team and the whole diabetes thing. I have become president of our local JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and have become very involved in creating awareness. I am not sure if you knew about my diabetes, but I have had it since I was 21yrs and I am 35yr now. So it has been a battle and I think the real battle is being an athlete and having diabetes. I would love to talk to some of the riders on your team that has diabetes. I have not really exercised a whole lot since I have had diabetes, but in the last year I have been running quit a bit getting up to almost 10 miles and I have also bought a mtn. bike. I know this is a lot if info and you are very busy with racing, but I hope we can catch up on the phone or something and maybe help each other out. We have a annual fundraiser walk here for the JDRF November 1st. Oh yea also I told your dad that my buddy that lives in Bend, Oregon is racing in the same race as you in July. He is older and I am not sure if he rides for a team but he said he was going to look you up, his name is Ryan Mckean. Will I’ll let you go. Drop me a line or give me your number and I will give you a call.
Take care buddy and good luck,
Mike

Every time you use the world “ghetto” I want to punch you. Or make you spend the night here in Dorchester.

Ah Mr. Myerson, I thought I heard your ears whistling
If you want fistacuffs, then I propose a ghetto neutral location. How does 4pm tomorrow in Providence sound? I know you’ll be bringing Southies so I’ll bring some Yalies.
Oh and btw, the Urban Dictionary defines the Haven as, “A little city with ridiculous ghettos but also million+ dollar homes…”
and the DOT as, “the biggest, illest, and most dangerous neighborhood of boston”
Wow, this little nugget of information tips the ghetto scale in Dorchester’s favor. It doesn’t get anymore ghetto than this: Jordan Knight - lead singer of the 80s-90s original boy band, New Kids on the Block was born in Dorchester, MA.
I’ll still be in Providence tomorrow afternoon though…

Dude, civilized people do NOT comment in their own blog comment section! Come on, man!
Besides, Princess Cassie’s Corner is the most interesting thing on your site.
OH SNAP!
